Have you every wondered how to incorporate your sane quilting tools into crazy quilting. This is what I have done on this block, I have a large collection of quilting stencils, and I used the new marking pencil from Fon's and Porter, this pencil comes with both black and white lead and makes a very fine line.

I marked the center square on this block with this stencil.

I really love using beads on all my blocks as they add so much sparkle and I love bling on all my quilts. Here is what the motif looks like when I finished,

And this is what the whole block looks like when I finished all my stitching, so if you are looking for inspiration for your next block give this a try I'm sure your will like it.

This will be part of a wall hanging it will incorporate thread painting which I am practicing as well I will save that for another post.
